Objects disappearing at end of timeline, even though go til end
Hi,
I keep getting this problem (I'm making my first storyline project). Everything will be working fine, and then I make edits to a part of slide and when I go to preview, the text, images, etc disappear from the slide right at the end. (I currently have a button set up to change from state of hidden to normal when timeline ends becuase I have audio). So, the Continue button shows, but things that used to also stay, now disappear.
When I go to the timeline, it looks like everything is all lined up at the end, so I dont know why the disappear -- I've had to just re-do entire slides - but maybe there is something going on that I'm not aware of. Any help you can offer would be greatly appreciated!
Stephanie
Thanks Jacqui for linking to the other thread where you were discussing this with Leslie. I see that she shared information in regards to the existing bug submitted to our QA team and as she mentioned we don't currently have a timeframe to offer in regards to that behavior and set up.
Glad that this thread was able to assist you as well Mohamed :) Thanks for popping in to share.

I'm newer to storyline, started using it in July 2017, but this has been a constant issue. It would be nice if the layers would snap to the endpoint. It is very easy to have them a tiny bit offset and having to resize to look closely isn't really the best solution. Thx.

Can you attach a video or a slide so we can see it?

Not really, just a blank slide. I found the solution on another thread. Right-Click on the layer and select "show until end". This will fix the layer that is offset.

I am having this issue. I made two cards on my slide, you click one and it flips and you see the back (which is a layer) then you click the other card and it shows the back ( a 2nd layer). It worked for a bit but suddenly it started to have one of the cards disappear when you click the next slide. I made the back of the card in each layer to show always and there is no exit animation. I've been looking at this for a half hour or more and can't find where I went wrong.

Hi Kristina,
Are you comfortable with sharing your .story file for the community to take a look? You can share it publicly here. Or, if you prefer to work privately with our support engineers, they can offer some help as well!
