Optional trainings and individual dates for completion
Hi, I was trying to assign the course to one of my colleagues but to make it not mandatory, just for testing purposes and unfortunately I found out there is no such option.
Maybe I am missing something, is it possible to assign the training to somebody that is not mandatory and for rest it is? And is there a way to for one person assign it for 7 days to complete and for the other for 14?
I feel like it is a basic option, it would be really helpful. Thank you

Hi izaoles,
Great questions!
Currently, Reach 360 does not support assigning the same course as "required" for some learners and "optional" for others. Course assignments are managed at the course level, and learners are either enrolled in the training or they're not.
Also, Reach 360 does not allow different due dates for different learners enrolled in the same course. Due dates are configured on the course itself rather than on individual learner assignments. If you change a course's due date, that change applies to all enrolled learners.
Having said that, Reach 360 does support due dates based on the number of days from enrollment (e.g., "complete within 14 days"), but that setting still applies uniformly to everyone enrolled in that course. It can't be customized per learner.
I understand that these would be useful enhancements, and I've submitted your requests directly to our product team. We'll be sure to notify you if we release a future update that helps!
