Paste into timeline
Is there a way to determine before pasting objects into the timeline, where on the timeline they will be paste to? or their length?

So there is no way for a pasted object to conform to the destination timeline?
IE: I copy a shape from a slide that is 50 seconds and paste it to a slide that is 30 seconds. The timeline automatically jumps to 50 seconds when I paste, even though I only want it to be 30 seconds long. If the shape is formatted as "show always" it should automatically adjust to the timeline where it is pasted.
