There should be ways to customize what appears in the video players, and there should be ways to control the volume of an audio or video asset outside of just using the built-in player.

Thanks for checking in! We do not have any news to share at this time regarding this bug that impacts the background audio volume when there is a muted video. I've added your voice to this bug report. We'll update this thread with any news about a fix so everyone is in the loop!
