Play speed control - Any workarounds to avoid chipmunk voices on apple devices?
I was so thrilled when I found out that Storyline was including the ability to adjust play speed. However, while testing this feature, I learned that it comes with a caveat. When adjusting the play speed on Apple mobile devices, the voice gets distorted to either sound like a chipmunk or a creepy low pitched voice.
I know that Articulate is very clear that this is expected behavior at this point. Still, I was wondering if anyone here had figured out a way around it that doesn't involve converting everything to video.
This is a great feature, which our users have been requesting for a while. The issue is that a large chunk of them use iPhones, so I don't feel comfortable releasing a product that will likely get mocked because of the chipmunk voices. At the very least, I'd like to be able to disable this features on iPhones, so that other non-Apple users can benefit.
Any ideas or workarounds appreciated!

the "speed feature" is a standard html5 browser feature - not created by storyline
unfortunately apple does not allow alternative browser engines yet - so no one but apple can solve the problem

Thank you for clarifying, Jürgen. I didn't know this. If it's up to Apple, I think we'll be waiting for a while. Hopefully, not!
