Playback Speed

Hi Xavier,

when using the Modern Player, Playback Speed can be activated within the Playback Controls. All within Articulate Storyline 360.

As Marc shared, the course playback speed control is exclusive to the modern player style in Storyline 360.

Here's how to access this feature:

1. Go to your player properties
2. Make sure you're using the Modern player style
3. Mark the Playback speed box in the lower-left corner of the window

Thanks for your answer. In fact I already went there , selected modern mode but Play back speed is not appearing in the list of option ! 

Is it a pb of version ? ( If my yearly license has been renewed before Jan 2023 , can this have any impact ? )

Have you updated Storyline the the latest version

I was effectively thinking it was the cause , but I wanted to be sure. I'm investigating this point, trying to get new version

On the Articulate App you can see the version and if you need an update

Currently, the learner will have the option to control the playback speed. We are tracking a feature request that allows course authors control over the speed, not the learners.

I've linked this discussion, so we'll update you if we have news to share. If you have any questions in the meantime, please let us know!

Thanks for your response, Kelly.  If the learner will have the option to control playback speed, then I suggest removing the 2x option altogether.  At that rate, learners are just skipping the content.
