Ppt can't install Articulate Add-in
My Articulate tab in Ppt won't load. I followed the directions in other knowledge base articles with no luck. The exact message is in the attachment. Any help is greatly appreciated.

I uninstalled and reinstalled Studio 360, and now it is working!
Great news, Eileen! Thanks for popping back in with an update :)

It is gone again, and now I cannot uninstall Studio 360. Each time I try it says, "Please close running instances of Studio 360 before continuing."
There are no instances open. I've closed absolutely everything on the computer.
I'm beyond frustrated. I've had zero success with this program from Peek to Storyline.

I restarted and was able to uninstall the app. Is it normal to have to uninstall and reinstall apps so much? I've not had to do this with any other programs I'm using, and I've been a pretty active tech user for 25 years.

I restarted and was able to uninstall Studio. I reinstalled the suite. I still do not have the Articulate tab in Ppt.
Hi Eileen!
I'm happy to help to make sure the Articulate Tab shows up in PowerPoint!
I've created a short screen recording listing out the steps, but I'll also list them below:
- Open PowerPoint.
- Choose Options on the left banner.
- Select Add-ins on the left side of the PowerPoint Options pop up.
- In the Manage section, select COM Add-ins in the dropdown. Click Go.
- A pop up with all possible PowerPoint add-ins will appear. Make sure Articulate.Presenter.lpc is checked, and then click OK.
Please keep us updated if you run into any snags!

Hello
What if Articulate.Presenter.lpc is not present in the Com Add-ins?

I am running windows 2007 and I'm having the same problem. In fact its not adding the add in unless I run PowerPoint as an admin. When I run it as an admin it adds the add in. When I exit PowerPoint and return the add-in is gone. I have a course due this weekend and this is stressing.
Hi there, Patrice!
So sorry you hit a snag with the add-in. You did the right thing by opening a case with our Support Engineers!
I'll share the fix publicly in case there are others who find this conversation: Installing a supported version of Microsoft PowerPoint should do the trick.
Studio 360 supports these versions š§
- Microsoft Office 365 (desktop apps only)
- PowerPoint 2019 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- PowerPoint 2016 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- PowerPoint 2013 (32-bit or 64-bit)
- PowerPoint 2010 (32-bit or 64-bit)
Hi Melanie,
Thanks for reaching out and sharing what you are experiencing.
Do you have any disabled items in PowerPoint?
This is covered in steps 1-4 in this article:
You'll need administrative privileges to enable PowerPoint add-ins. You may need to ask your IT staff for assistance.
- In PowerPoint, go to the File tab on the ribbon and click Options.
- Select the Add-Ins tab on the left side of the window that appears.
- From the Manage drop-down at the bottom of the window, select Disabled Items and click Go.
ā

- If anything is disabled, select it and click the Enable button.

Hi. I have a trial version of Articulate 360. I am hitting the issue where I can't access the content library from ppt. I see the articulate tab in PPT (2016 version), but I cannot access the content library. I checked the steps above from Lauren Connolly, and that all checked out correctly. Also, I have no disabled items. I uninstalled and reinstalled Studio 360. I still cannot access content library. When I select something, like insert character, nothing happens. So I mouse around, and clicked the Articulate.Presenter.Ipc that popped up, and I get a couple of script error messages (First one: syntax error, char 4498, https://support.office.com/socbundles/support?v=yuxJeASk0aMDZnfyCIa8WI9yh-juNwsNt4gUSger5lQ1. I click yes to continue to run the script. Then I get a "occe' is unidentified error, char: 1652, https://support.office.com/socbundles/article?v=Prn87GNzDCZCaSWAPejfVyQMv4rHdX35goVdKB4jlV81 . I click yes to continue, and these just cycle through 2 more times. Any ideas ? Is this because I am on the trial license? Thank you!!!
