Presenter Manifest File

Hello!

I have a couple of ppts that I want to use the articulate presenter software with.  I publish for my LMS with the Scorm 1.2  option, however when I go to preview the presentation my LMS provides and error that suggests that what I have uploaded actually isn't scorm 1.2.  I asked my LMS team to troubleshoot, they found that the scorm content creator and manifest file was not found in the content.  Please see attachments, and let me know if  you can help.

Thank you,

Sharon

  • you need to publish it to scorm zip and upload that to the Les, the zip file you have here is the source files not the publish files.

    Dear Phil,

Thanks for the quick reply.  However the output options that are available when I click publish to my LMS are the following:

    SCORM 1.2

    SCORM 2004

    AICC

    Tin Can API

I do not see an option for scorm zip. Where do I find that please?

    Thanks again,

    Sharon

You want to select scorm 1.2 or 2004. Your main problem is that you are not sending the right zip folder. Sent from my iPhone

    Hi Phil.

I chose SCORM 1.2 ( I showed that in my screen shot).  Choosing it provides me with this zip file that doesn't work.  Any other thoughts?

  • The zip file you uploaded is not a scorm file it is the source files.
Publish choose scorm 1.2 choose zip from the dialogue that appears, save the zip somewhere you can find it. Upload the zip file to the LMS

    Phil,

That is exactly what I did, and just re-did now.  Same error.  I think it is a problem on the Articulate side, maybe?  I guess I can contact Support?

    Wow Phil.

I just did it again, and chose a new place to save the zip file to... and it worked.  You must think I am an idiot!  Thanks for all the back and forth.  Oh my goodness. Thank YOU!

  • NO problem at all, I have done some shocking things in the past.
