Problem with publishing Power Point Presentation ins SCORM

Dears,

I've been trying to publish my power point presentation as SCORM1.2 , however after doing that it doesn't look good at all (all slides are all over the place, texts are in different places and fonts are changed).

I have received an info on desktop that some fonts were not supported and I was to download them to my computer (which I've done) and still that didn't help.

Would you have any suggestions how to publish my presentation 1:1 without any changes?

Many thanks

  • Are you using Studio 360 or are you importing the PPT into Storyline?

  • Hi Magdalena,

Welcome to the E-Learning Heroes community!

I see you've connected with my teammate, Lianne, in a support case. You're in great hands! We'll continue the conversation there.

I've had a similiar issue with Storyline 360. I have a course that when published to HTML5 for reivew all the fonts were fine. When published to SCORM 1.2 fonts on almost all of the questions pages changed from 14pt to 16pt in the responses.

  • Hi Shawn,

Thanks for reaching out! Have you tried testing your published SCORM output in a different LMS to confirm if the font issue is specific to your LMS? SCORM Cloud is a great environment that you can use for this purpose. Here's how to test your course in SCORM Cloud:

If you can replicate the behavior in SCORM Cloud, would you be willing to upload a copy of your Storyline project file here or in private by opening a support case so we can look at it? We'll delete it when we're done testing!

    Thanks for your patience!

      Hi There,

The issue doesn't reappear after I correct the font settings and then republish, which is very confusing. Also this only happens with questions pages, and then only to the responses. It's just a lot of work because the particular course I'm working on is in 56 languages so I have to correct each version. Yes we do have the appropriate font packages for the languages we are dealing with.

      Thank you
      Shawn
