Problems with resume to saved state and reset to initial
Hey everyone,
I'm building a quiz where I want the slides to "resume to the saved state" when revisiting from within the quiz, but "reset to the initial state" when the course has been restarted from the first/last slide. For this, I've set the display settings as "resume to saved state" when revisiting and added a trigger to "restart the course" on the first slide.
However, Storyline remembers the resumed state when I restart and doesn't set everything to the initial state. Can anyone help with this? How do I get it to restart everything from scratch when the "restart" button has been clicked without changing the "resume saved state" property, as I still need this property when users go back to a slide while still answering their quiz.

Have you tried the automatic option? If it is a quiz slide and assigned to a results slide it should do exactly what you ask
There is no results slide. It's a type your answer and compare it with the original. The settings in each slide are set to resume to the saved state. I just want them to stop resuming to saved and set to initial once the restart button is clicked.
You can only have one setting per slide. You could track variables when you press restart button and then set triggers to reset the slide (jump to time, hide layer, reset variable to blank)
