Are you using a variable to track the timer? If so, they do not reset on revisit, no matter what the setting. The main purpose of variables is to carry information from one slide to another. They only change if ordered by a trigger. Set it to 5 when the timeline begins on the title slide.
If I'm guessing wrong, and that's not how you are doing it, attach your .story file (or at least the title slide) here so someone can take a look at it.
