Question Draw Improvements
Hi all, I'm currently slogging through building several assessments using a very large question bank, and I'm continually frustrated with the limited tools for working with question order.
About 300 questions exist in the course's bank, and because of the way this particular course is organized, dividing them up into smaller banks isn't really an option. I need to be able to present selected questions in a specific order, but the only way I can really see to make that happen is to scroll through the bank, find the question (or in a few instances, a group of 3 or 4 sequential questions), and then laboriously drag them up to the top of the draw where I need them in the sequence. Not only is this extremely meticulous, but because the scroll speed maxes out at about 1 to 2 rows per second, it takes an eternity. Furthermore, you can't select non-sequential groups, so you're forced to make multiple round trips. The only commands for moving questions are "move up" and "move down," which also takes 1 to 2 seconds to complete each move.
I guess I'm hoping there's an easier way that I'm just missing, but I'd also like to lobby for some better tools/performance here. Faster scrolling on drag would be a godsend. Even a few additional move question options like "move to top" or "move to bottom" would be very welcome. Generally, I know exactly where I need the question to be in the draw, so "move to position X" would also be extremely helpful.
Failing that, better tools for exporting to Excel, so I can just sequence my questions there and somehow reimport them in order would also be fine.
