Question without feedback jumps to next slide without a trigger to do so
I have 2 questions in a question bank without feedback. The next button enables on submit to move forward.
The issue happens when the question is not the last one in the Question bank. If I move Q1 after Q2 or duplicate Q1, the issue does not happen.
Hi Dale (sorry! Mikelmage), A submit interaction (as far as I am aware) will automatically jump to the next slide on submit if you do not have 'correct' or 'Incorrect' layers on your slide.
- Leave the 'correct' and 'Incorrect ' layers in place when you convert to freeform
- Remove everthing on the correct/incorrect layers, or apply a blank slide from the feedback template. When submit is clicked, the blank (transparent) layer appears over the question and the slide will not move forward until the Next button is clicked.
- Make adjustments as needed to the states/variables... e.g. so the correct/incorrect oval states do not show when submit is clicked.
