Quizmaker Hotspot Marker Functionality

Hello! I am currently working on a course where I have created several quiz questions using the Freeform Hotspot feature. The client likes the feature but are experiencing issues maneuvering through it. They are confused by the pulsating marker continuously displayed, after they've chosen a selection. They think there is still some processing in progress and that they are stuck. They aren't actually submitting their answer selection. I think it may also be confusing that they can click anywhere on the slide and have the marker appear, instead of just the hotspot areas. I have read older posted discussions and would like to know, if there any updates on allowing customization and behavioral modifications.
