Random white shape on correct/incorrect layers

Hey everyone!

For the correct/incorrect slide layers during graded questions, there's a random white rectangle with a lower opacity that I can't figure out how to get rid of. I deselected "Dim" and there's nothing on the base layer causing this. It's only showing when I select the layers, but I can't see it anywhere. How do I get rid of it?

  • Hi, Jacob,

That extra shape is probably on the Master Feedback Layout. You get there by going to the VIEW tab, and selecting Feedback Master.

Note: You image does look like there's a semi-transparent shape covering most (but not quite all) of the slide. Be aware that the Feedback layouts sometimes use a semi-transparent background. That achieve the same effect of slightly dimming the base.

    • If the semi-transparent background is on the Master Feedback, that dimming will also happen on all layers you add, because those use the "Blank" Feedback layout.
    • Go to the Background Styles to adjust that as needed.
  • Thanks so much for the help! I will check this out. It looks weird to me so I wanted to ditch the semi-transparent layer.
