Record number of clicks in the "wrong" place
Hello - does anyone happen to know how to record the number of "wrong" clicks a user makes? In other words, if I am trying to get them to click in a specific place on the screen as a knowledge check and they click in the wrong place, can Storyline report on that to an LMS? Also, I would like to limit them to "2" wrong clicks before forcing them to the next question. Please let me know if anyone has thoughts on this. Thank you!
Question slides provide the option to set the number of attempts:
When you set the Attempts to >1, Storyline automatically adds a Try Again layer. It will show that layer each time the user answers incorrectly but hasn't used up their attempts. After attempts are used up, the program will show the Incorrect layer for another wrong answer.
However, the data submitted to the LMS only indicates whether the question was graded as correct or incorrect. It doesn't include info about whether someone required more than 1 attempt.

Hi Josh,
You can set up Storyline to adjust scoring based on where the user clicks. For example, you could have a map and add positive points when the user clicks on the correct area and subtract points when the user clicks on a wrong area, and have them be able to click on a wrong area multiple times.
You can see the attached instructions and sample Storyline project.
