Recorded screens pixelate when published as video
I have searched through the discussion threads but haven't found an article about my particular problem.
I created a demo in SL where I recorded the screens of an application. The resulting screens look sharp in SL and when I share them through Review 360, however when I Publish to Video, the resulting mp4 of the recorded screens are pixelated. The strange thing to me is that a couple of slides that I made that do not contain recorded screens look sharp in the published video. I have tried different publish settings but get the same result. I need the published mp4 to have the same sharpness throughout as the SL source with no blurry or pixelated screens.
Note: I am not talking about slides where a video file has been inserted. This project does not include any embedded video files.

I am not able to replicate anything like you described. I am curious. What dimensions or aspect ratio are you using to record your screen? Also, what are the size and quality settings in your publish window?
I typically record at 1920x1080 and these are my size and quality settings.
Thank you Ron for the recommendations. I am going to experiment with these settings and see what the result is when I publish to video.

try "Video Compression" -> "none"
Hello Jurgen. I am not sure if this applies. I am not inserting a video in SL. I am publish SL file as a video. The SL file does not contain any video files. Am I missing something? Mike
I think I have discovered the problem. When I recorded the application from Chrome browser, I set the browser magnification to 75% to get all of the content within the window. It seems that recording at this magnification resulted in blurry pixelated output when published to a video. I made a recording where Chrome was at 100% magnification and the resulting video was not pixelated. So, it seems that recording a browser window at a magnification other than 100% can cause this problem.
