Recover file?
Seems the beta version of Storyline is not saving temp files as frequently. Storyline crashed (no surprise) but this time I lost my whole days work. The only temp file and only saved file is from the end of my work day yesterday when I last saved.
Seems I've become overly reliant on auto-recover but the beta version can't be relied on for auto-recover.

I just lost a day's work as well when a company security patch forced a restart on my laptop. 8 HOURS of work gone. And now, not the slightest hint that I was working in Storyline at all. I'd like to foray this complaint into a request. Why not institute frequent and reliable autosave? Isn't that the most logical thing to do, especially with people who may be designing coursework for the first time? I was crying REAL TEARS earlier when I returned to my desk and saw that my laptop had restarted and that I'd lost so much work.

Hi Jacquie!
I'm so sorry to hear about this setback and the frustration it has caused you!
Thank you for the feedback on the type of save functionality that could benefit you when authoring in Storyline. To clarify, have you already tried to recover a previous version from your temp files?
Vincent shared steps for that process earlier in the discussion.

This happened to me also and there was no temp file in the folder as described above. Why doesn't Storyline just make this as a feature? It seems like autosave would be a simple addition to the software! I hope they consider this in the future. Super frustrating!
