Refresh doesn't refresh the timeline

Hi Harri! Honestly it would be hard to troubleshoot your issue without your file.  Could you submit that to us so that we could have a look at it?

I was reviewing a colleague's course yesterday and notice the same thing happened on a slide where the user was required to click several buttons before continuing, is this just a glitch that I've never noticed before? 

I'd rather not submit my file as I've found in the past that the troubleshooting solutions suggested via the 'technical support team' are less effective than those suggested in the forums.

Hi Harri! I'm not sure how your settings are set, but perhaps they are set to resume when revisiting or set to automatically decide? It may help if they are set to reset to initial state. If you didn't want to submit your file in that way, you could also share in the forums for community help.

My slides are set to 'resume saved state'- they can't be set to 'reset to initial state' due to how the interaction works. I understand why this might affect the slide when using the 'previous' button to return to it, but why would it affect the 'refresh' function within a slide?

The refresh feature doesn't work on either slide, however you can tell that the timeline is restarting as refresh on the second slide will result in narration that is only triggered if you refresh.

Hi Harri! Thanks for the file as that helped me to visualize what you were explaining.  So, that is the Rewind button, and it's behavior is driven by your 'When revisiting" property for each slide.  So, since you previously mentioned that you have it set for 'resume saved state', this prevents the slide from rewinding.  You can read more about it in this article.

Thank you for clearing that up for me, however I feel that, from a user's perspective, this is an error on Articulate's part as the 'resume saved state' should only affect revisiting the slide, not just reviewing it.  This makes the slide appear broken and may well present issues for me when I come to review the content with the client.

Perhaps others in the community can chime in with suggestions for your particular scenario. 

Hi Harri! Can you help me understand your distinction between "revisiting" and "reviewing"? Is one when returning from another slide and reviewing is like rewinding while still on the current slide? Or something else?
