Regarding bookmarking issue
It sounds like your course is exceeding the limit of suspend/resume data that your LMS can handle. Here's what that means:
Storyline uses the LMS to store the suspend/resume data. That data allows the program to resume a course where the user left off.
However, there are limits to the amount of data that can be stored. For example, the 3rd and 4th editions of the SCORM 2004 standard can store 64,000 characters of suspend/resume data. But the SCORM 1.2 and SCORM 2004-2nd edition standards can only store about 4,000 characters.
If the amount of data exceeds what can be stored in the LMS, the course will resume at an earlier point.
