Regarding the AI chat

I’m a heavy user of SL but I’ve used the AI assistant no more than three times, and I don’t think it’s been on a major project. The first was trying out its ability to script animation with a JavaScript trigger, and I wasn’t impressed at all.

I’m not bothered by it because I still frame the assistant as an incredibly new feature, and it’ll take time to iron out. Other “AI” features like the new TTS, the image generation, the sound effect generation, and the localizing across languages are all top-notch as far as I’m concerned.

Since the assistant doesn’t have the ability to edit the states of an image yet, I assume that its challenges are in how Art is enabling the assistant in Storyline. Letting it do things without letting it crash the app. Letting it change variables and triggers and canvases without letting it have access to everything back-end.
