Remove menu but keep play/pause

Hi,

We can't keep the play/pause button if we hide the menu by default?

Please tell me SL is not THIS clunky.

    If you hide the menu, the play pause button is still available, so it's not that clunky. :)

    But you need to enable it in the player controls.

      Thanks for the reply Tom!

      I think the issue for me is the bug related to 'Resources' being visible when unchecked.

      Check out the two screencaps. Both have Menu and Resources unchecked. 
      When Menu & Controls are left ON, I still get a menu and a Resources link. I can also see a Play button.
      When Menu & Controls are OFF, I lose the menu and Resources link (what I want), but I now lose the Play button.

      Is this a bug, or am I doing something wrong?

    I'm not exactly sure what you want to see in your course because you started with hiding the menu and then wanting the play/pause, but in the follow up you reference the Resources.

    • If you turn off menu controls, you won't get anything because those are all off.
    • I recorded a video of what I think you want, it seems to work as intended. Let me know if I'm missing something.

      Thanks, but I guess I'll have to contact Support. My SL is buggy.

      I uncheck menu and resources (I don't want them), but they still show up in my module.

      EDIT: I am trying to copy a slide from one file to another. The copied and pasted slide still shows the menu and resources link, even when the Player options are unchecked.
