Remove step number from Process block
I am using the Process block to showcase sub-brands of my company in an overview lesson, but realized that the settings default to say "step 1" etc. Is there any way to remove the number? I know I can replace the word "step" but it will still say a number if I write "brand" or something else instead.
Hi everyone, 🎉
I'm happy to let you know we released a new update for Rise 360. This update adds the following feature:
- Enjoy more flexibility with process blocks. Turn off the step label to present non-sequential interactions.
There's nothing to install for web apps. New features and fixes are immediately available, though you might need to publish your Rise 360 course again.
Let me know if you have any questions about this update or the new feature!

Thanks Lea, I think my issue is I don't need pictures, so just looking for text :). I am just telling a story through the process block and it looks good, just wanted more flexibility with the titles :)
I ended up using the process block and just kept the title more relevant to the story.
Thanks for the suggestion though.
I think I will just submit a request for the ability to change the step name and eliminate the number lol!

Hello, everyone! Thanks for chiming in! No news on this feature yet, but I'll be sure to share here if we have any updates.
If you need each of the labels in a process block to be different, or need the numbers to be removed altogether, you can try using an image > carousel block, and utilize caption for the text. This should give you a similar effect. I hope this helps!

Thanks Leah, but agree with Teresa, I'm utilizing the ability to show a carousel with text + Imagery + audio and not needing the "number" shown for each section.

It would be absolutely great to get rid of these numbers. Any news?

Hi Lea,
Any progress on removing the numbers? Most of us on this thread know the word can be removed but not the number.
Thanks,
Patrick

Do you know if you can have a different word as the label for each step, I don't think I can, but would be helpful :)

Hi Teresa, if you only need the number in your process block, you can delete the word altogether. I hope this helps!

HI Lea, sorry, no what I was hoping was on the Start slide it may say "Introduction", than on step1 I changed it to say "Admission" (with no number), then on step2 I would call it "Examination" (with no number). So literally using the block template but not for a step by step but a movement through a story.
thanks

I'd also like to add my name to this, would love to see this.
Thanks so much!

I'm adding my voice to the request though it looks like its been in the request more than a couple of years. the other problem is that it's not just the numbers 1, 2, 3 etc, the step label title also carries over.

Hi Articulate, any news on this? I would also like to use the process block with no numbers. Cheers!

Hi Tania, thanks for checking in. We don't have any updates to share yet, but we will post them here as soon as we do.
Hi Deb! Hover over the process block, and click the Settings button. Type a single space (spacebar key) in the Step Label field, shown below. That will remove the word "Step" from the process block.

Super helpful tip - thank you so much! I also like the Process block, but not necessarily for showing sequential steps.

The image block doesn't allow you to use video though - I like the process one because I can have a series of videos, but I also want to remove the number. I hope Rise 360 will enable this soon. Any progress?
- CNavarroFormer StaffHi Jessica,
