Uh oh, that doesn't sound right! Thanks for letting us know what's going on.
Have you hidden the author under the course title on the course main page?
If you've followed those steps and you're still seeing the author name in your LMS, could you try testing it in another LMS like SCORM Cloud?
Keep me posted on how it goes!

I just ran into this same issue after I hid the author and loaded the content to the LMS. My name still displayed when I launched the course. To resolve this, add an additional collaborator under Settings/Collaborators in Rise. In my case, I added another person on my team (added her email address). Then hide the author, and export the content.

Hi,
Yes, today for the first time it has happened. The Author name is hidden for preview etc. We have published and sent to the LMS and my name and my Articulate icon shows on the pages which is not required. To avoid these issues, the Author name should by default not be visible in an LMS.
Hi Darren,
If the author name is hidden for all lessons in preview mode, then it should also be hidden in the LMS.
It sounds like that isn't working in your course, so I'd like our Support Engineers to take a look. Click here to open a case, and reference this discussion. They'll reach back out with instructions for sending a copy of your course to the team.

We have just observed this problem occuring. We hide it. The author does not show in preview - but it somehow gets switched back on again. This original question was from over a year ago. is there a solution?
thanks
Hi Elizabeth! Sorry to hear you're having trouble, Rise shouldn't be doing that on your LMS if you selected to hide it.
Can you please open up a case on this link here? I'd like our Support Engineers to take a look. They'll investigate further and help you test your file!

This is not funny. One year and still no sensible reply. I hid the author's name from the course title and the lesson (only one lesson in my course). However, the review link still shows the author's name.

We ae experiencing this same issue with a course in Rise. Was there a resolution for the issue?
Hi Michele, If you set the author name to be hidden for all lessons, then it should also be hidden in Rise and your LMS. Have you tried testing this in SCORM Cloud as well?
If you still have trouble, can you please open up a case on this link here? Our Support Engineers can take a look to see what the issue is.

It appears it must have been a glitchy thing. We republished the course and they remained hidden this time.

I have the same problem with Rise. The course looks fine with author hidden in both Preview and in Review but then shows on every lesson in the LMS. I submitted a support case for it yesterday. I would really like to see this "feature" removed since I can add author details (if I want to) to my Storyline courses but don't have the option in Rise to remove it and have never had (or wanted) my name in headlines below the title anyway. I can simply add a text block if I really wanted to have my name on the course.

Hi Danny,
In our Rise courses, the author is hidden and does not appear when the courses are viewed in our LMS.

Hi, when I hide the authors name within the course, it shows hidden but then when I publish to SCORM, the author name is visible. I am using the microlearning in Rise 360. Any solutions?
Hi JeVaughn, and thanks for reaching out!
I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue. I've opened a support case on your behalf so we can investigate what's going on. You'll be hearing from one of our Support Engineers soon via email!
