Removing code from a SCORM File for //(C) Netscape Communications 1999-2001. Permission granted to reuse and distribute

We are creating a course for a new client. In their web-testing of an 'in progress version,' their tech team found outdated code embedded in the Scorm 2004. They are concerned about it as a security threat and have asked if it can be removed.  Has any one else had this problem?  Any solutions for removing without impeding the integrity of the file? (See attachment for specifics).
