Hi Sabine,
Thanks so much for reaching out! Happy to help! 😊
You have the ability to create a Timed Quiz in Storyline 360. You can achieve this within the RESULT TOOL > DESIGN tab.
When viewing your QUESTION TOOL > DESIGN tab for the questions in your quiz, you can change the attempts so that you have more than one attempt included.
Attached to my post, you'll find a sample file where I've created a 2-question quiz with a results slide. I have included 3 attempts and a timer for 3 minutes. That way, the learner can retry the course, but you have a set duration for each attempt.
If you still have questions after looking at my sample, feel free to share your file with us in this thread or privately in a support case so we can get a better understanding of what you are trying to achieve.
Looking forward to hearing from you!

Unfortunately, this is not exactly what the customer is looking for.
They say that they want 'a feature that allows us to reset the knowledge check after an established period of time. This is for cases where the students fail the test and they exhaust all their attempts, to give them a new chance to pass the course. Could you please check if Storyline has something similar in its standard configurations?'
So, it's slightly different from having timed quiz attempts. It's more that once the learner has had all their attempts, but failed them all, they have to wait for a while and then they can restart the quiz and try again. Is something like this possible?Hello Sabine,
Thanks for the additional information!
You'll want to take a look at adding a trigger that resets the results of your Knowledge Check Result Slide after a certain amount of time has elapsed in your project, which is tracked by the built-in elapsed time variables. This is a screenshot of the trigger action that you'll want to use:
And this article explains how you can use the Elapsed Time variables in Storyline 360:
Hope this helps!
