Restoring Default Rise360 Labels

I have overwritten the custom text within the label settings (in Rise360) without creating a new set not realising this changes the text for all the courses I have within Rise360.

Is there a way to restore the standard/default text for my course labels or is there a list of them that I can download and use from someone?

  • Hello, Alistair!

The original English labels are on the left column. Simply adjust the text in the right column to match the text in the left column. This will restore your English label set back to the original labels. Let me know if that answers your question!

What about getting back the previous labels from different language?

  • Hello, MM04! If you edited the build-in Spanish, French, or German label set, there isn't a way to restore the original label set within Rise 360. What language do you need?

      from there..

May Articulate add a button / feature to restore translations to a default value? Perhaps not just for English, but all most commonly used languages. As an example, if I change in Spanish the 'Submit' title to something else, I'd be able to just press a button and it would return every value back to what it was before my editing.

Hi Mike, you can create two custom labels and reserve one as a backup. When you want to revert all of your changes, you can switch over to the backup copy. Would that work for you?

There needs to be a decisive way to revert to 'factory default' labels. These labels just accumulate over time as well, and you can end up with many labels to wade through. If one works with multiple external Clients, this gets cluttered fast.
