Review and Lightbox Together
My client wanted to have the Review also provide a link to the slide where the information for the question resides. I created a Review layer on each question, and the Lightbox link seemed to work like a charm. However, when the module is tested on 360 my client (and another) get stuck; they can't advance on the first Review slide. I however don't have that problem. Makes no sense. I have tried removing the pool; no change. But when I removed the Lightbox everyone is able to advance the Review. Do Review layers and Lightbox don't play nicely together? Or am I missing something obvious?

Can you recall what you did instead? I'm having trouble thinking of anything that isn't a ball ache.

My apologies, that was too many months ago for me to recall (memory is the second thing to go)

I just encountered this situation today after attempting to do the exact thing the OP tried.
Do you have any update on this?- GCarletonFosterCommunity Member
Sorry, I got nowhere trying to fix this. So I deleted the Lightbox and went with another approach.

I'm testing a silly workaround.
It seems like lightboxing a slide messes up the 'next' slide in review, but actually visiting the slide doesn't.
Workaround:
- Initiate a false/true variable on the 'review quiz' button.
- Have the lightbox link instead jump to the actual slide.
- On the relevant slide, have a 'return to quiz review' button hidden unless the review variable is true, and next/previous buttons hidden/disabled likewise
- Tick the variable back to false if the user retakes the quiz/passes

I'm pretty sure that others have successfully lightboxed slides from question slides in the past. It certainly seems like it should work. But I was able to replicate the issue in the attached file. The issue occurs even when Previewing.
Here are variations I tried when reviewing the quiz:
- I lightboxed the content for the first question, and then closed the lightbox. The Next button wouldn't go anywhere.
- I didn't lightbox the content for the first question. I did lightbox the content for the second question, and then closed the lightbox. The Next button jumped to the first question (which, in my file, comes "next" in the sequence after the content 2 slide that was lightboxed.
Based on that, it seems that the program is trying determining "next" based on what's next in the normal sequence after the lightboxed slide. But when that is a content slide (instead of a question slide included in the Results), it doesn't go anywhere.
I suggest you submit a case directly to the Articulate staff. You can do that here: https://access.articulate.com/support/contact

Hi GCarletonFoster!
Sorry to hear you've run into this setback, working with Lightboxed Review Slides in Storyline!
Glad to see Judy has been helping you. I can confirm we have this behavior logged as a bug in Storyline 360. This bug causes:
- After viewing Lightbox Slides, added to Quiz Review Slides, the Next button always returns the learner to the first Slide.
I've linked this discussion to the bug report, so we can notify you as soon as a fix is in place. I've also updated your support case with the feedback shared in this thread.
Thank you for your patience. I'm sorry if this has been slowing you down!
