Rise 360 - Note Taking Feature?

Hello everyone,

I was recently building a bit of a technical course using Rise 360 and one of my observations was that it would be great if there was a note-block, or perhaps overlay on Rise 360 courses that allowed people to take notes, save resources, create their own checklist/resource list etc. and then print it or save it as a PDF post course completion.

Is this a feature that is being considered?

Regards,

Justin

I too would be interested in hearing updates on this notetaking feature in Rise courses.  This would provide such a great interactive element these courses and another level of learning for so many.

Yes, this would be a great feature, Please add my vote for this feature.

  • In addition to the approach and demo I outlined above, we recently completed a project for a client where, instead of using local browser storage to store the learner's notes during the course, we stored them in the learner's comments data array in a SCORM 2004 compliant LMS. This overcame the problem of resuming the course on a different device or using a different device.

The JavaScript is not trivial but it works well.
