Rise 360: Hyperlinking Issue
Good morning, everyone.
I created a simple Rise course for employees to review and attest to a few company policies. It includes a visual/text block outlining the key changes, followed by a button that links to the actual document.
During QC in Review360, everything worked as expected — the document opened in a new window while the course player remained visible in the browser. However, once we loaded the course into Workday Learning and tested it, we noticed a problem. When a user clicks the link, the document opens in a new window (as intended), but the course player minimizes down to the taskbar. After reviewing the document and closing it, users don’t see the player window anymore and often end up closing out the entire course by mistake.
I haven’t found a workaround for this behavior in Rise, and we can’t assign the course as-is with this issue happening.
Has anyone else run into this problem?
Thanks in advance.

Hi MikeMelanconJr,
Thanks for reaching out!
I understand that the course plays as expected in Review 360, but the course player is getting minimized when viewed in Workday Learning, causing confusion for the learner. I'm happy to help!
Since it's working in Review 360, this likely isn't something that can be resolved within Rise 360. You may want to try a different browser and check your browser settings. I found a similar thread that offers a possible workaround. Please check it out and let me know if you have additional questions!
