Rise content in Storyline
Hi All,
So the scenario is that I have a module developed in Rise but I want to put that into a SL360 project (multiple languages).
So I figured out that you can do this:
- Publish and extract the Rise SCORM content
- Add a open trigger to the SL360 project - pointing to a folder I will add after publish.
- Publish the SL360 project
- Manually add the target folder and copy the extracted rise content into the folder.
This works but it opens a secondary window.
Is there anyway to use a HTML 5 output on Rise and use the method above to run the html from within the SL project? this is to avoid having to separately host the Rise content.
I did try web object and pointed it at the sub folder but it didn't like it.

Hi Toby, and thanks for reaching out!
This is an interesting idea. Can you elaborate on what you mean when you say you tried web object and pointed it at the sub folder? You can embed your Rise course into Storyline as a web object by following the steps below:
- Publish Rise 360 for web distribution and host on a web server:
Rise 360: How to Embed Published Content in a Web Page - Add web object to Storyline 360:
Storyline 360: Adding Web Objects
I'm interested to see what others in the community have to say, but in the meantime, I wanted to share these discussions that may be helpful:

How can a track the completion? If I embed the Rise as web object I can't do it!
Any suggestion?
Thank you!Hi Marco!
Happy to help!
Currently, there is no way to track the progress learners make inside embedded content since the content is hosted in a third-party environment. Thanks for sharing the feedback on the type of functionality you'd like to see from Web Objects in Storyline. We'll share updates on our Feature Roadmap if we make any enhancements to this feature!
Have a great start to your week!
