Rise course not recording completion in LMS when quiz is retaken and passed.

We have recently launched a Rise course that has a quiz but where the completion criterion is set as 100% course completion.  This is because there is additional content after the quiz that we want users to view. 

Each section is only unlocked if the previous section is completed, or in the case of the quiz if it has been passed.  If users successfully pass the course first time (pass rate is 75%) and then go on to scroll through the rest of the course, progress shows as 100% and it is correctly recorded in the LMS as completed. 

If the user fails the course first time, then retakes and passes it, irrespective of whether they scroll through the rest of the course it does not register as complete in the LMS.  In this scenario, the progress percentage seems to be stuck at 86% and the status registered in the LMS is "incomplete, suspend".  Just wonder if anyone else has come across a similar scenario and can suggest a fix?
