Rise for study guides

Hi there,

I'm looking for inspiration from anyone who has used Rise to create study guides for a technology  certification exam. I thought maybe creating a microlearning might be one approach to take?

  • You can certainly do that. We use Rise for our resource pages when we do events. And we also use it to as our presentation tool.

The Microlearning feature works well if you think of the guides as smaller resources. If you have a lot of content, I'd recommend building them in a regular course structure where you get a menu and a larger canvas, so to speak.

I'd probably build a master starting course where you design the core lesson structure so you have some consistency in how it looks and how you'll assemble it.

You can also make templates from your lesson pages for easy addition to other guides.

  • Ohhhhhh, as a presentation tool as well? That's so interesting. Thanks so much for the tip. If anyone has a link to a study guide they would be willing to share, I'd love to take a look at it.
