Rise Learning Journal / Notes
Hi SamHill - has anyone implemented this excellent solution in real world projects yet? I have tested it in a Rise build and my LMS and it works well. In terms of licensing / attribution to yourself as developer I am wondering what your thoughts are on this. Thanks again for this solution.

Hi - I'm currently trying to get it signed off by the exec team - I've added a logo to the exported file. I too would like to know the process for licensing to Sam.

I think I'll just pop on a repo and open source it. Please just use as you wish to anyway. I've had plenty of people test through my SCORM Cloud account, but I have no idea if anybody made it to production.

I have it sitting with the executive team for approval, with the logo added to the export, thanks again Sam for your work on this. I'm going to try and edit the notes icon next!

Hi KateMackenzie I have added to a repo now, so if you are JavaScript adept, you'll be able to edit the icons etc through the pre-compiled files. They are defined in JavaScript using SVG. It would be easier to have these as separate assets, but I wanted to make this as easy to implement as possible (not copying multiple assets into Rise).

My client has published the course I used it for. They were very pleased! Sam, I'm sorry I didn't think to attribute to you. You definetly deserve some accolades for this solution and the tweaks you made for us. A heartfelt thank you to you.

Hi DavidAtkinson-d I'm releasing under GNU GPL v3. Free to do with it what you want in terms of use in a module, but just restricting people creating proprietary software from it.
