Rise won't publish a zip file for LMS

I have tried to publish several Rise modules for LMS and none of them produce a zip file. Usually the zip goes to my Downloads folder without issue. I also tried to download from the email that we get, but still nothing happens. I had my co-worker try as well and nothing for them either.

I tried this with modules I have published in the past and still no zip file.

Any ideas?

I just published a Rise course, and it published normally and downloaded the ZIP as it always does.

Thanks for letting me know it's working for you. I have reached out to others at my company to see if they are having this issue before I open a case.

It's now working again, along with my import of French translation as I was getting an error when doing that on Friday and today. Something is up with Rise for sure but no one seems to be talking about it that I can see on here.

      Hi SheriHorton

Thanks for sharing an update in this thread! I'm glad to hear that things are now running smoothly on your end as you publish your Rise 360 course.

If you or your teammates need any assistance in the future, we'd be happy to help in this thread or take a closer look in a support case!

Have a wonderful start to your week!

Hi Luciana, I'm having the same problem that SheriHorton had on her original post. I have raised a ticket for this to be looked into but do you have any suggestion's ideas as to how I can download my published Rise files please? Thank you

Hi Kelly, thank you for getting back to me. I emailed articulate directly and Charlie Crumpton opened a ticket for me about this, so it may be in his name.

    Case Number: 00012154

I tried publishing to Web and had the same thing as publishing to LMS - nothing! When I receive the email, I click download and it loads a webpage for me to click download, then when I click that, nothing happens.

This is the URL that displays.

      Hi TanyaDeacon,

      Thanks for sharing the screenshot!

That doesn't look right, so I'm glad to hear you opened a case. Since you're already working with Charlie on this, we can continue troubleshooting there to keep all information in one place!

Hi, I am having the same issue that my Rise 360 online module will not download when I click on the download content button from the email. Trying to download via LMS using Scorm 2004 which I have always used in the past.

      Hi PamBattle

Thank you for reaching out and sharing that you are experiencing this same issue when attempting to download your content. I'm happy to help!

      • What browser are you currently using to access the email with your course content? Perhaps switching browsers will allow you to successfully download the zipped course files. Do you notice any difference if you switch browsers?
      • Are you able to publish to Web or Review 360 successfully?
      • Do you experience this same behavior if you attempt to publish another course you are working on? I'm curious if it's isolated to this course or not!

Feel free to share a screen recording of your process so we can take a closer look. You can share that in this discussion or privately in a support case

Looking forward to hearing from you!

Thank you for your reply, I have tried multiple browsers and it was still not working.

Managed to do a work around by inspecting the link and then copying the link into a new webpage and then it downloaded as a Zip file. This was not ideal as it has always worked perfectly well for all my previous modules. Fingers crossed it goes back to normal the next time I need to download a module.
