Safari not loading Rise course - Display "A problem repeatedly occurred"
Yes, I've seen similar issues with Rise 360 content in Safari, especially when courses are launched through an LMS. Since the course works for most users and the problem is limited to a subset of Safari users, it's likely related to browser settings, cached data, extensions, or Safari's privacy features rather than the course itself.
A few things I'd check:
- Safari and iOS/macOS version for affected users.
- Whether "Prevent Cross-Site Tracking" is enabled.
- Content blockers, ad blockers, or privacy extensions.
- Whether the issue occurs in a private browsing window (which you've already suggested).
- Clearing Safari cache, cookies, and website data for the LMS and course domain.
- Whether the course is opening in an iframe and if Brightspace has any restrictions affecting Safari.
The error message "A problem repeatedly occurred" is often Safari's generic response to a page crash, memory issue, or script conflict. If the course contains large media files, embedded web content, or complex interactions, Safari may be more sensitive to those than other browsers.
Gathering the affected users' Safari versions, device types, and any installed extensions will likely provide the biggest clue to narrowing down the root cause.
