Results Page not loading in storyline

Hello, maybe someone with some insight in the depths of this software can help me. I’m currently creating a learning module in Storyline. However, the results page for chapter 4 “Umsetzen” is not loading. When I load the entire scene and navigate to that page, it just stays on a loading icon. After that, nothing works anymore. I can’t even open other slides. (-:

I’ve checked the variables in the triggers, but everything looks exactly the same as usual. The only thing I noticed is several built-in variables like “Quiz1.PassPercent”, “Quiz1.PassPoints”, and so on, which are not normally included. However, they aren’t used anywhere, so that shouldn’t matter, right? I also tried to delete the results page and copy it from our templates again, but that only led to variables with identical names.

I would really appreciate it if anyone has an idea. Unfortunately, I don’t know what else to try.

  • The variable assigned to the scene-4 Results slide doesn't match the variable in the triggers.

When that happens (typically from copying, duplicating, or importing a Results slide), it messes up the built-in functionality, and it can't display the slide.

The attached file works. I edited the Quiz Settings to give the scene-4 Results a new name. I also edited the custom triggers to refer to the associated variables.

For future reference, I recommend always inserting new Results slides (that is, do not create a Results slide by copying, duplicating, or importing another Results slide).

It also helps to give each Results slide a meaningful name. When you edit the Name field in the Quiz Settings, the program will automatically update the built-in triggers associated with that Results slide.

  • Amazing, thank you! I am not that familiar with articulate storyline and forgot those options. It works now! :-)
