Scorm and GDPR / AVG
As i work for universities ... now the question about privacy, GDPR and AVG ( EU variant of GDPR ) arises.
Is Scorm GDPR / AVG compliant ?
Hi Math! Interesting point. Privacy is so important. I saw this older thread that speaks to this, well mostly GDPR but I hope that helps answer your question.
Yes, exactly whats stated in the article always was my opinion too. Scorm is just communication between the course and the LMS. So in the end the LMS has to be GDPR/AVG compliant. Allready told that to our IT guys but they need more info alas.
ask the IT quys what their opinion on GDPR of JavaScript Libraries (jQuery, gsap, react, ...)
this would then correspond approximately to SCORM
JürgenAll of those blocked by default in Instructure Canvas LMS, but can be added in the theme-editor and used. Asking that question will cause more problems...
