Set Storyline files to open on Mac
I recently had to install a new VMware Virtual Machine to run Storyline on my Mac. In the old VM I could click on a .story file and it would open in Storyline 360. Now it does not, and I cannot find a way to tell the Mac to open those files with 360 because it does not show up in the lists of applications. Anyone know how to do this?

I'm happy to help! I've made these changes in the Virtual Machine environment by selecting a default app by file type. Here's a screen recording of the steps.

Thanks. That works for the Windows side, but I am trying to assign the files on the Mac side to open in Storyline on the Windows side, but it does not show in the apps list on the Mac side.

Thank you for the clarification! On the Mac side, you'll want to make sure that you're running Windows applications from your Mac's Application Folder. Here's a screenshot of this setting:
Here's a video on how to find this setting. Let me know if this does the trick!
