Show Until End / Show Always
Hi
I'm new to using Storyline 3 and I apologize if this issue has already been discussed and/or resolved.
I've applied either Show Until End or Show Always to multiple animated objects in my training. However, some will disappear as soon as the total display time is reached. They need to be displayed until the user clicks Next.
Any suggestions on resolving this?
Thanks,
Kevin

Exit animations are designed to begin in time to have the object completely invisible by the end of the timeline. One way to avoid that if you are using .75 animations is to pause the timeline .75 seconds before the end of the timeline. Then when the learner clicks, instead of jumping to the next slide, write the trigger to resume the timeline, and set the slide to jump to next slide when timeline ends. It looks to the learner like click, exit animation, and jump to next.

Sorry, I described the issue incorrectly. The objects don't have animations applied to them. Many just appear after a second or two.

Disappearing like that is really very characteristic of objects with exit animations. But if you will attach the .story file here, someone can take a look at it.

I didn't think the objects had animation because they didn't move around the screen. But, I discovered that they had a float Out animation after all. So, you were correct and removing the animation took care of it. How embarrassing.
Anyhow, your feedback resolved the issue. Thanks so much.
