Showing Base Layer Objects on Popups - Not Working?
Hi all,
Long-time Storyline user, but for some reason I seem to be having a brain-fart.
I have several "popups" on layers over base slides, and I want them to be able to see, visually, a darkened base layer behind the popup, as it doesn't take the whole screen.
This seems very trivial, but I do not understand what I am doing wrong.
My properties for the layer do not hide any objects or any other layers, however, I still see nothing behind it when published.

Check to see if your layer has a background photo or fill by default. If you change the transparency of it, you can darken the base, but still see it.

Thanks for the reply.
I went into my slide masters and removed a gradient background I had, put the fill to 100% transparency, so it's white/blank, but I still do not see anything. So bizarre. I feel silly - MichaelCeran830Community Member
Oh my lord, it was the layer properties, you were right. I was checking the masters and the base slide.
Wow, that was complicated for nothing. Thank you
