Sign in to your account screen pops up when publish to video
Hello,
I publish to video in storyline and encounter this issue:
After encoding video to the last screen," sign in to your account (not responding) screen pops up. I click the x at the corner to close the screen, Articulate framework note pops up: "Articulate Framework is not responding
- close the program or wait for the program to respond". I select close the program and the video continue with the next step of adding audio track ..
Following that, the publish is successful.
What program I need to open/sign on while publishing to video ? what do I need to do so I will not encounter this issue.
Many thanks for your help.

Hi Sonya,
Great question! I understand that when publishing to video Storyline asks for you to log in and then gives you an "Articulate Framework is not responding - close the program or wait for the program to respond" message. I’m happy to work with you to figure out why these things are happening! I have a few follow-up questions regarding the situation so I can understand what you are experiencing a little better.
- Which version of Storyline are you using?
- Is this happening with more than one file or is this the only one?
- Are you working from a shared drive when this happens? If so, I recommend saving your files on your local drive before creating, editing, and publishing them. This will help minimize any unexpected behavior.
- After the publishing finishes is the video output playing as expected?
Thanks for reaching out and I look forward to your response!

Hello John,
storyline is very likely at the latest version, I don't know where I can see it. My files are in One drive and storyline is on C drive of my laptop.
I will move my files to C drive and publish again.
yes, the video output playing as expected.Thank you for your quick response.

Hi Sonya!
Thanks for the feedback! I just wanted to pop in and share how you can check which version of Storyline 360 you are currently running. I've recorded a quick Peek to walk you through the steps!
This resource goes into a little more detail about managing the Articulate 360 desktop apps as well:
Also, great call on moving the files to your local hard drive and republishing. Please let us know how that works or if you have any more questions!
