Size of Storyline file - how to know?
I finished my Articulate trial, resulting in a pretty decent presentation, and am hoping to purchase the product. I was told by a sales rep that the "Personal" plan has a limit of 150 GB storage (versus unlimited for Teams).
I wanted to know how large the file was for the trial presentation I created (thinking that would help me figure out whether the Personal plan would be sufficient), but they told me that there is "not a way to confirm file size for content created in Articulate 360 authoring tools" - which is crazy to me, or else how can a person assess the amount of storage they need?
The presentation itself wouldn't be stored on my computer, would it? I tried poking through the Program Files and didn't see anything promising.
If anyone has a workaround to help me figure out what the size of my trial presentation was/is, that would be amazing. Thank you!!
Storyline 360 uses .story files as the project files, and publishes finished projects (in the case of Web) to the "My Documents" folder on Windows. Look for a folder inside called My Articulate Projects, and one will see the output of each published course in a named folder. Right click on the folder icon and choose Properties to see the total folder content size.
Regarding published project sizes, embedding videos, audio and graphics grows the size of published content.
