Starting with Storyline 360: A Free Full Beginner’s Course for 2025

We all had to start somewhere when learning Storyline 360. For me, it was an instructor-led seminar back in 2017. Since then, I’ve learned so much—not just from hands-on experience but also from this amazing community and free resources like YouTube.

Recently, I had the task of onboarding a colleague quickly onto Storyline 360. Of course, this isn’t something you can master in just a few hours, but I realized that a well-structured, one-hour introduction can go a long way in getting someone up to speed.

However, when searching for beginner tutorials on YouTube, I noticed that many of them missed a few key topics that I consider really helpful for new learners:

• Designing with Theme Fonts & Colors
• Using Content Library slides effectively
• Providing downloadable training materials
• 360° image functionality

That’s why I decided to try and create a comprehensive yet beginner-friendly tutorial myself, covering all of these aspects in a step-by-step format. If you’re just starting out with Storyline 360—or know someone who is—I hope this can be a useful resource for 2025.
