State Not Changing on Layers

The states don't change for me, either, if I use the Timeline's Play button to view a layer when the slide is in edit mode. That function doesn't run triggers. (For more info: Storyline 360: Working with the Timeline | Articulate - Community )
To properly test a slide's interactivity, use Preview.
SarahVaughan-0c : The triggers work. I saw the Grace character change to the talking state. However, I had to wait 4 secs.
I assume the other triggers also work. However, I didn't bother testing the other characters, because the triggers to change them don't happen for >20 seconds.
