State Not Changing on Layers
The states don't change for me, either, if I use the Timeline's Play button to view a layer when the slide is in edit mode. That function doesn't run triggers. (For more info: Storyline 360: Working with the Timeline | Articulate - Community )
To properly test a slide's interactivity, use Preview.
I wonder why they don't work for me then. I retested them and nothing happens. Perhaps it's because I'm using the play button on the bottom of the slide rather than the preview button. I'll test that next. Regardless... Thank you for your time. I greatly appreciate it.
