You can't create your own "super state"; that functionality is hard-wired into SL. When you name a new state, you can use the dropdown menu to see which ones they are. They are the ones with names pre-populated into the dropdown.
My method to undo them is to never use buttons, for precisely that reason; they come with so much pre-installed baggage. I create a shape (or more frequently, a text box) that looks like I want it to, then add any built-in states I want to use.
