Storing my Storyline files in SharePoint
Articulate strongly recommends against opening a .story file that is stored on SharePoint or anywhere other than one's local hard drive. That's because any lag in the network could corrupt the file.
Thus, it's best to always open a .story file that's on the local drive. Of course, it's also wise to store a copy elsewhere as a backup.
Just one recommendation: when you are in your SharePoint drive, in the folder where you save the files, look in the menu for "Add shortcut to your OneDrive" and click on it. This will put a shortcut to your Windows explorer - if you work with Windows. That way you can just open the SL files via explorer while saving on Sharepoint.
