Storyline & Itslearning: Short answer submission in Storyline & stored responses in Itslearning

Hi there, 

I am creating a piece of e-learning which has incorporated an open answer question with the aim to gage student tone, level of understanding etc for evaluation purposes.

My question is how do I create the question in Storyline and direct the stored answers into Itslearning?

I have explored using a google form but as the e-learning is for a government company there are restrictions using google forms so this is not optional.

I hope someone can help!
