Good afternoon, I have been trying to edit previous text-to-speech items and continue to receive the following error message: Unable to connect. Check your internet connection and try again. I also tried to add a new text-to-speech item and received the same message. I installed a previous version and attempted both steps, receiving the same message in both instances. Does anyone know if text-to-speech is currently unavailable or when it may be fixed? My coworker is also experiencing the same issue. Thank you!

We've identified an outage with one of our service providers, and in addition to intermittent errors uploading content, we're seeing errors with trial sign-ups and Storyline 360 Text-to-Speech. I have noticed that if I open a browser to an outside website, the Text to Speech will connect when I try again. Not sure of why this works, but after about 100 "Unable to Connect" messages, it has not failed to connect when I have does this.

Hello Ric! Text-to-Speech relies on internet connection but shouldn't need an outside browser window open to work. Have you tried a repair of Storyline 360?

    No.
    
    Text to Speech often fails.
    
    It states to Check you internet connection. How Do I do that? I open a browser, hit an external web site, any will do.
    
    Whenever it fails, I refresh my webpage, and Text to Speech works.
    
    What concerns me more is how often SL360 crashes. Repair did not help that either.

I'm sorry to hear that you're experiencing this issue when trying to edit text-to-speech items. I'm happy to help troubleshoot!

First, I'd like to confirm that these network endpoints are enabled. Specifically, port 443. You may need your IT team to assist with this!

Hi, every member of my team has this issue and none of us have been able to use the text to speech option.

We asked for the site to be whitelisted as in the instructions but no joy.

Anything else we can do?
